• Taste assessment answers: the choices you make when building your taste profile.
• Dish interactions: dishes you save, dismiss, or shortlist, and confidence feedback you give.
• Restaurant visits: which partner restaurants you scan into and when.
• Device & usage data: basic technical information needed to deliver and improve the service.

3. How we use it

We use your data to generate personalised dish recommendations, improve our taste-matching model, and provide partner restaurants with anonymised, aggregated insights about menu performance.

4. Sharing with partner restaurants

Partner restaurants only ever see aggregated insights — never your individual identity, contact details, or specific answers. Your name and email are not shared with them.

5. Third parties

We use Google for optional sign-in and Lovable Cloud for secure backend hosting. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

6. Data retention & deletion

You can delete your account and associated data at any time from your profile settings. Some anonymised analytics may be retained for service improvement.

7. Cookies & local storage

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your assessment progress. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Children

Fungry is not intended for users under 13.

9. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than where you live. We rely on standard contractual safeguards where required.
