This policy explains what we collect from restaurant partners, why, and what control you have over it. By using Fungry as a restaurant partner you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

• Contact & account information: your name, work email, phone number, restaurant name, and authentication identifiers when you sign in or book a demo.
• Restaurant & menu content: menu items, prices, descriptions, ingredients, allergens, and imagery you upload or provide.
• Performance data: aggregated metrics on QR scans, taste-club signups, diner recommendations, and menu-item engagement at your venue.
• Billing information: handled by our payment processor; we don't store full card details.
• Device & usage data: basic technical information needed to deliver and improve the platform.

3. How we use it

We use your data to operate your restaurant dashboard, generate taste-matched recommendations for your diners, deliver aggregated insights on menu performance, provide support, and improve the platform.

4. Diner data

Diners who scan your QR code build a taste profile with Fungry. You receive aggregated, anonymised insights about menu performance and taste trends at your venue — never the individual identities, contact details, or specific answers of those diners.

5. Third parties

We use Google for optional sign-in, Lovable Cloud for secure backend hosting, and standard email and payment providers. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

6. Data retention & deletion

You can request deletion of your restaurant account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Some anonymised analytics may be retained for service improvement.

7. Cookies & local storage

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in to your restaurant dashboard and to remember interface preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Children

Fungry's restaurant platform is intended for business use by adults only.

9. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than where you live. We rely on standard contractual safeguards where required.
